    Sang-ho Lee (b. 1956, Seoul, Korea) received a BFA in painting in 1983 and an MFA in painting in 1987 from Hongik University, Seoul. He is a founding member of the printmaking group Namu, formed in 1983, and of the drawing community Practice, which had its inaugural exhibition in the same year. He participated widely in group exhibitions including 15 Emerging Woodcut Artists in 1984 (Yoon Gallery, Seoul, 1984), Young Thoughts (Hangang Art Museum, Seoul, 1985), and Hangang Woodcut Exhibition (Hangang Art Museum, Seoul, 1986, 1987, and 1988).
