Yeo-geul Yoon (b. 1956, Seoul, Korea) received a BFA in oriental painting from Hongik University, Seoul and studied drawing and printmaking at TU Braunschweig. He has produced works in a variety of art forms, including painting, print, animation, and cartoons. His woodcut prints put death and a will to live in stark contrast. He had seven solo exhibitions from 1992 to 2016, and participated in group exhibitions including Zeitgeist, Practice Group, Young Thoughts, Indépendants, Introspection (Alive Jincheon Print Making Museum, Korea, 2009), and Korean Contemporary Woodcut-National Territory and the People (Haeum Art Museum, Suwon, Korea, 2015).
